Chocolate Mousse with Frangelico

chocolate mousse 2I’ve been wanting to make these chocolate mousse ever since I got myself a bottle of Frangelico. I’ll always imagine how beautiful it will be to pair dark chocolate with the sweet nutty flavor of the Italian liquor, especially in the form of this ultra smooth and silky mousse. And the best thing is, they are extremely simple to make.

Get the best eggs you can find because raw eggs are involved here. I used organic free-range eggs which are hormones and antiboitic free. With all the nasty information flying around about factory-farmed produce, I’ve begun to use more organic products nowadays.

The taste and texture of this mousse is so heavenly! Eat it with lightly sweetened whipped cream. If you can find fresh blackberries, they will go very well with this decadent dessert.
